Girl

This short story was written by Jamaica Kincaid. This is about girl. I think every girl should read this short story. 

Because it is very important. It gives more advices to  make a life properly. A mother is telling to her daughter how to live the life properly. The daughter does not seem to have any say in it.

 She tells her daughter to how to do such household, chores as laundry, sewing, irony, cooking, setting the table, sweeping, washing, how to make a herbal medicines and catches the fish. 

Mother advice to girl about very essential for daily living. Practice advice, mother also instructs to her daughter on how to live a fulfilling life. 

She offers sympathy, such as when she talks about the relationship the her girl will one day have with man, she also says that many kind of relationship and some never work out. 

The mother also tells the girl how to behave in different situation, including how to talk with people she doesn't like. However,  the mother's advice seems caustic and castigating out of fear that her daughter is already well on her way to becoming a 'slut'.
